FPS are pleased to announce that we have facilitated a Supply, Marketing and Distribution Agreement with the joint venture between Automotive Management Services (“AMS”) and RedMed Group (“RedMed”).
Supply & Marketing Agreement.
This is a major commercial development and has far reaching implications.
AMS is a global automotive solutions provider managing and/or operating over 134,000 vehicles worldwide. AMS specialises in fleet consultancy, provides distributor and dealership operations, and deploys field support personnel who specialise in training and technical support.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of the Fuel Efficiency Management (“FEM”) programme at RedMed;
- Adopt the FEM programme in selected fleet operations that it has under management; the process of identifying likely fleet deployments for the FEM programme has already commenced;
- Identify existing business relationships outside its own operations where it believes the FEM programme would be a good fit, and market the FEM programme to those accounts.
RedMed is a leading integrator of global solutions and turn key services to the energy sector with operations in the U.K., E.U. and the North of Africa. They operate a large fleet of equipment (haulers, trucks, heavy duty equipment, etc.).
- Adopt the FEM programme.
- Identify existing business relationships outside its own operations where it believes the FEM program would be a good fit, and market the FEM programme to those accounts.
Both AMS and RedMed have extensive operations in territories (e.g. Africa, the Middle East, Asia) where poor quality is prevalent. In these territories, water contamination is a major issue.
Poor fuel quality results in less than optimal equipment performance and significant downtime of equipment. Both AMS and RedMed, after extensive due diligence, believe the FEM programme is an ideal solution for addressing poor fuel quality issues and reducing downtime of equipment.
